Could The Pressure In Neck And Strain In Eyes Be Due To Thyroid?

36 yr old female. had a blood test done last year to test thyroid. found overactive. have no insurance and live in a VERY remote part of Alaska. Been feeling pretty good up until now. feel pressure around neck area, and eyes feel strained with a bit of confusion now and again through the day. been about a week and a half. not sure if its all related, but just not feeling right.

You told that thyroid blood test was overactive ie.hyperthyroidism
In hyperthyroidism the blood levels of thyroid hormone will be more than the required.
The symptoms of hyperthyroidism includes lose of weight,palpitation(feeling our own heart beats),various eye stmptoms like strain,pain,bulging etc
There is a condition called Thyroiditis(inflammation of thyroid) which can explain you symptoms.
Sometime the whole thyroid gland will be enlarged in hyperthyroidism which can cause pressure symptoms in over the neck
Please do the following tests
1.complete blood count including ESR
2.Thyroid Function Test
3.Technitium uptake scan of thyroid if the TSH is suppressed
OR
USG-thyroid if the thyroid values are normal
