Could The Purple Bump On Tonsil Be A Hemorrhoid?
My sister just sent me a picture of her throat. She has a purple (what almost looks like a hemorrhoid on her left tonsil). She is going to the Dr. tomorrow, but says it does hurt when she swallows. I'd post the picture if I could. Sound familiar to anyone?

This is a tonsillar hemangioma. It may bleed from there sometime. Better to get it vaporised by laser or coablaion or simply do one sided tonsillectomy to get rid of this.
