Could The Rash Be Related To The Anesthesia Used During Surgery?

Our 9 mo old granddaughter had tubes put in her ears yesterday morning and today she has developed a rash on her front and back torso (non-itching). Otherwise, she is doing great with no other symptoms. Could the rash be related to the anesthesia used during surgery?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

She had tunes put in her ears for a recurrent ear infection. The rash is more likely to be due to her having an infection, rather than the anesthesia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Cajetan, Pediatrician
