Could The Rice In Gluten Free Product Different To Cause Weird Feeling In Throat?
We recently switched our diet to gluten free because one of my children is allergic to barley. We used a pizza dough that was gluten free and the top ingredient is rice. I eat rice occasionaly but for some reason my throat feels weird. Any ideas? Is the rice in gluten free different?
As per your query you had pizza from gluten free ingredients aand you have weird feeling in throat . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due may reasons like sore throat , acid reflux , granular pharyngitis , allergic reaction and inflammation of lining of throat . I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles , take bendryl twice a dayand avoid food like nuts and sea food . If condition doesn't get improve or get worse then consult ENT specialist for proper evaluation . Doctor may order test like swab test , viral culture test and examination with laryngoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti inflammatory , and anti allergic . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if problem is related with acid reflux .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
