Could The Swelling Below The Knee To The Ankles Is Due To Hematoma?
thank you - my 46 yr. old son has a swollen, large egg shaped swelling just below the knee cap. His leg is a bit swollen to his ankles but no pain anywhere. Skin on that leg is tighter than on the other. Could this be a hematoma? If so, what is the help he can expect.?
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
I would suggest getting an xray/mri of the leg at least. It is quite difficult to say without examination or further details, but you may have described a cellulitis with the tightening of the skin
i ould suggest meeting a physician immediately
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.
