Hi,I had protected sex with made and 3/4.I have symptomps of viral like fever,headache,bodyache and tiredness. I did elissa test after 4 days of my sex and its negative .currently m going through viral medication.is there any chances of hiv.pls help and suggest best opinion.Thanks
Hi, that are not the symptoms of hiv. Moreover symptoms of hiv are not appears suddenly. and your elisaantibodies trst can not detected hiv evenif you are infected. Be cause you may be in window period. you should go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure. You can go with p24 antigen or pcr. thanks for using health care magic.

you continue your current ongoing treatment. First of all check the status of hiv the person you had sex with.if his status tells you to continue the treatment than continue your treatment. secondly hiv elisa is not going to be positive in just 4 days. the earliest test to be positive is the P24 antigen test followed by hiv rna pcr at 28 days.
