Could Thirst, Loss Of Appetite And Skin Flushing Be The Symptoms Of Dehydration?

I took a 20 mg adderall at six o clock this evening. As i was studying i noticed my mouth was very dry but i didn t think anything of it. I haven t drank anything all day and I am now begining to think I am dehydrated. My symptoms include: very cold, very thirsty, loss of appetite, skin flushing, tingling of limbs, head ache. what should i do?

It's possible you are dehydrated if you haven't been drinking anything all day. Adderall is an amphetamine and this could cause the dry mouth and some of the other symptoms you are having. Since it speeds up your metabolism it may also have caused you to lose water and thus become dehydrated. Right now I suggest you start pushing the fluids. This would be water, and sports drinks like Gatorade will also be helpful. This will reduce some of the symptoms you are having. Hopefully when the Adderall is fully out of your system, any side-effects it's causing that are adding to your symptoms should also resolve. Hope this helps.
