Could This Tubal Pregnancy Having Spotting After A Day Of Bleeding And Clots And Had Tubal Ligation Via Clamps Few Years Back?

I have been having pregnancy symptoms, for about the last 2-3 weeks. I started with very light spotting last week for mon, tues, and wed morning. I helped load a very heavy bunk bed wed afternoon and that evening I was bleeding more and my back hurt. I passed several clots Thursday and was bleeding a bit Friday till I laid down and spent the rest of the weekend on the couch, I would only lightly spot when I would get up do use the rest room and my back/hip hurts when I am not laying down. I went to the doctor and told them this and they said t could be a anovulatory cycle, and my body is trying to rid itself. I had a tubal ligation via clamps about 4 years ago immediately following my C-section. the doctor told me to use ibuprofen for the pain. but didn t address why I would only be spoting after one day of bleeding and clots when my normal cycle is heavy and last 7-8 days???? I am concerned that it is possible for a tubal pregnancy??

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Tubal.pregnancies are not common, but when they occur they can be quite dangerous. If your doctor would have suspected a pregnancy, he/she would have tested you for it.

Although in your query, you have not mentioned any pregnancy symptoms. The spotting could be due to an anovulatory cycle, or even based on your age, a possible hormonal imbalance.

You may also conduct a home pregnancy test which will come positive even if you have a tubal pregnancy.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
