Could Throbbing Headache With Painful Ears And Neck Indicate An Ear Infection?
Hi I just today I have been having pulsating pain in my left temple occumpanied by pain in my neck and ear. I have been swimming the past couple of days so I m just curious as to whether it could be an ear infection or irritation from water. Or if maybe it could be something worse like a blood clot or stroke. I m only 19 so the last two don t sound very likely. Thanks.
hello, thanks for your query , your ear pain could be due to otitis externa, otitis media( ear drum infection), or impacted wax. you need ent consultation for proper diagnosis and treatment. presently you don't need to be worried. visit an ent surgeon, mean time, avoid water per ear and chilled drinks, which may aggregate the infection. Hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
