Could Thyroid Problems Be Causing Sensation Like Bugs Crawling All Over The Body?

Hello, Dr. Grief. I am having thyroid problems, and having difficulty getting anything done about it by the doctors where I am at. I was recently diagnosed (by ultrasound) as having a small thyroid nodule. I am supposed to get an uptake scan, but am stuck in a black hole between my PCP and insurance company. My TSH is .003, and my T-3 and T4 elevated. Can t get in to an endocrinologist till mid Nov. I feel terrible, and have a list of symptoms a couple pages long. Tonight, all of the sudden, I started feeling as if I have tiny bugs crawling all over me, and biting. I have read it could be caused by thyroid problems. What is the treatment for this?
