Could Tiredness And Lack Of Energy Be Due To Fractured Skull?
my husband fell on some stairs, he was unconscious for about 5 minutes, has a large hematoma on temple which bleed profusely prior to receiving stitches in ER. Ct scan showed he cracked his scull, had bleeding also in the brain. he spent two nights in ICU, 3 nights on a medical floor. He is very weak and does not want to get out of the bed. He eats very sparingly. My question to you is his body so very tired that it needs extra rest and sleep. He will walk short distances, very feeble, He tries to eat small amts even though no appetite. I am sure his whole body was traumatized due to the fall. thank.you
HI Well come to HCM In case of head injury (Cerebral injury) such symptoms are very likely and that is due to cerebral cell injury which disturbs the motor system (Neurological ) it all depends upon the nature, severity, and depth of injury, only time would tell us about the recovery, just hope for the good, some concrete opinion can be given after seeing the patient clinically and CT imaging study report, take care of him, bye.
