Could Weight Gain Be Due To Gabapentin Taken For Fibromyalgia?
i m taking gabapentin 300 cap. 3 times a day. ive gain a lot of weight since i was fibromilaga 2009. and i know this medication has to be making me gain more. im 190 pounds this is the biggess i ever been. is it my meds? iv allways be tiny person i was 90 pounds. im 48 years old now. i wasat 110 when this all got started.if you need my other meds just say so.

Gabapentin can cause weight increase as side effect.
Since there is excessive weight gain,you should switch over to other group of drugs for fibromyalgia like Antidepressants: balanced serotonin: norepinephrine reuptake inhibition e.g Amitryptiline,,Duloxetinea,
