my son 2.7 mths had mild running nose and wheezing suddenly all night with cough.morning his breathing was very heavy had to admit him in icu in hospital for 2.5 days to bring spo2 level to normal.was given cortison injections thrice.prior to wheezing he had combiflam for 4 days of which 2 days one a day 2.5 ml then last two days twice a day 2.5 ml.he was also under amoxillin ..all these were given before his wheezing attack becoz he had hurt his tooth. he does hv a on and off levolin(salbutamol) inhalers. now the doc prescribes flovocort inhalers to change the lung mechanism.he has never before had severe attack of wheezing before.my question is the wheezing due to combiflam?is it safe to use flovocort inhalers 2 puff twice a day for 6 weeks and montair lc for 6weeks?
