I do go but I'd rather wait till my appointment in 3 and a half weeks I hope to hear from you with a clear answer ... P.s have you got any tips on making it hurt less ?
There are many explanations to your current problems:
1. The foods you are eating or drinking (Pepsi) could damage the interior mucosa of your mouth including your tongue. This could lead to problems such as peeled tongue (or becoming white).
Try to stop eating or drinking such foods and see if there is any progress (it is simple, don't you think so?:))
2. Next, if you are also burping or having stomach pain or burning associated with peeled tongue, that could be stomatitis due to candida infection - you can do a culture of the mouth swab to exclude this diagnosis (talk to your doctor or dentist for more).
3. If you stop taking the above-mentioned foods together with a good hygiene of the mouth (regularly brush your teeth and wash your mouth); that could possibly help you overcome (or ease) the current problems you are facing until the next appoitment with your dentist.
Hope it helped!
