Crawling Sensation On Scrotum, Slight Stings, Jock Itch. Treatment?
Good day. I have this crawling sensation on my scrotum and underneath it,mainly the scrotum. It expands and contracts as normal, but that's when I feel that crawly feeling ( Its like the pubic hair raises and rubs against my skin). I also feel slights stings now and then.I did trim the pubic hair and it still feels the same. I also did have Jock itch about 3 weeks back now,and seems to be gone.
Pls can you help me get this terrible feeling to stop.
HI Thank for asking to HCM This could be pediculosis or ring worm infection (fungal ) but to confirm it better to consult skin specialist because the over all clinical judgment is entirely depend upon the clinical observation, you can try any antifungal cream on tentative basis see if this give good result then forget every thing, for the pediculosis Gamabenzine lotion (topical lotion ) gives good result you can try this, have nice day ( Tactile hallucination could be one of the functional cause and should not be neglected )
Yes i think it is tinea corporis which would have been due to tinea cruris.it is a fungal infection caused by superficial fungi.it presents as erythematous patches with central clearing.it can be cured by atarax 25 mg at night.terbinafine 250 mg for 14 days and application of terbinafine ointment can cure the condition
