Crohn's Disease, Back Pain, Burning And Paining Bellend, Taken Antibiotics. Kidney Infection?
My boyfriend has crohn s disease and got put on medication in january which he has had a bit of pain but not a lot oone week ago he started getting really bad back pain he couldn t even walk he then has a burning/ stabbing pain in his bellend which he went to the doctors and they said its a kidney infection and gave him 3 day antibiotics which he has been taking for 2 days today his pain in his bellend has been the worst pain yet he is crying with pain could this be more than a kidney infection?
This can be an infection indeed. However as the pain is quite strong, also kidney stones should be considered. Especially if there is trace of blood in the urine, frequent urinating, burning while urinating. The pain usually radiates to the groin.
Other issues with such characteristic symptoms are less probable. He should have urine analysis, urine culture and abdominal ultrasound. If there will be blood in urine and symptoms wont get better, urologist should be visited.
Hope this will help. Regards.
