Ct Scan Shows Mild Diffuse Cerebellar Atrophy, Multiple Small Intraparenchymal Dot. What Does These Means?
Got CT Scan and following is my report.. Could you please elaborate in details what is means in layman language. Thanks, * MULTIPLE (3) SMALL FOCAL INTRAPARENCHYMAL DOT AND NODULAR CALCIFIC LESIONS WITHOUT PERIFOCAL EDEMA (ONE EACH IN THE LEFT OCCIPITAL, RIGHT HIGH POSTERIOR FRONTAL PARAFALCINE & RIGHT HIGH ANTERIOR PARIETAL PARAFALCINE REGIONS). * MILD DIFFUSE CEREBELLAR ATROPHY .
This means that there were some old infective lesions which have healed and are now calcified
rest is that there are age related changes in brain which term as atrophy.
