Dark Brown Spot On Scrotum. Is It A Birth Mark Or A Mole?
i have had a dark brown spot on my scrotum for as long as i remember i thought maybe it was a birth mark, although the other day i went and had a physical at a free clinic and one of the med students had suggested that the tiny little spots on my wrist were not freckles but moles. I thought moles had to protrude out of the skin? question 2. Is this spot a mole or is it in fact a birth mark?
Birth mark can be divided to few types. One of birthmark type is a mole. So it does not make any difference if you call it birthmark or mole. Mole can be in the skin level or protrude out of skin. Moles can have many different colors, shapes and sizes. What is really important, to make sure its not a melanoma malignum. That is why moles should be under observation and it is good to have them checked by dermatologist once a year.
Hope this will help. Regards.
