Dark Brown Spotting Instead Of Regular Periods. Home Pregnancy Tests Negative. Pregnancy Chances?

Last month (Feb 16th) instead of my regular period there was just dark brown spotting, it only lasted a couple days - I was a little worried but took 2 hpt and they were negative. Now it is a month later and I expected my period to start yesterday, but nothing - took another home test and it was negative again, could there be a more serious issue, or could I be pregnant?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The irregular spotting that you are having with negative pregnancy tests could be due to a mild hormonal disturbance or polycystic ovaries. You need to get some blood tests and an ultrasound scan done to find out the cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Rakhi-Tayal
