Dark Spots On Forehead, No Relief With Creams, Masks, Cleansing. Treatment?
Hey. I have two small dark spots on my forehead , I think it s from when I had a bump or something. I ve been having them for like almost 6 months now. I have tried everything to get rid of it. I have picked the skin off but it comes right back. I have also tried face masks, cleansing bars, and lightening cream but they just won t leave. Or could this be something else? How could I get them to leave permanently?
this condition is called Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
it takes time to improve- months to years depending of the severity and depth of the skin involvement.
Hydroquinone based creams will give better results compared to the one you are using.
But all said a dermatologist after examination can better decide which skin lightening cream will best suit you .
permanent treatment will depend on the depth of the pigmentation which can be determined by a dermat on visual inspection only.
