Darkening Of The Skin After Degloving Of The Leg From A Tire Running Over Which Is Not Healing.

after a car injury on march 31 this year i was told that i had a degloving of the leg from a tire running over it. it is not healing and i am getting dark areas of the skin. i have no feeling at the touch but burning and pain. i did not have an open wound

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Degloving injury occurs when you get the entire skin of an area off just like a glove.
It is an open wound by nature.
It needs prolonged dressing in sterile and may need systemic and local antibiotics if infected.
I hope you have received tetanus immunization by now, if no then get it right away.
The dark areas may be necrosed patches of skin and need to be examined by a local surgeon.
