Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Daughter had MRI to look at pituitary due to her rapid growth and early puberty. Pituitary showed normal, but they saw something else related to her frontal lobes of her brain. The report reads Slightly dysmorphic appearance of the interior frontal lobes bilaterally, with possible fusion. This is favored to represent a developmental variant, though it is not completely evaluated on the sequences obtained...I was wondering if you could nshed some insight on what this means. She does not have learning issues and is a healthy 10 yr old. Not sure what to do. Dr that was looking at the pituitary said she did not feel necessary to see neurologist unless we notice learning issues.
