Dead Skin, Stitches Came Out, Yellow Fluid From Infected Breast After Breast Reconstruction Surgery. How To Rectify?
I had breast reconstruction surgery and ended up with dead skin which is being treated. Five stitches on my right breast came out and I have an infection and have prescription antibiotics by my surgeon. This morning yellow fluid came pouring out of my infected breast. Is this good or bad. Should this fluid be coming out cause it should not be in there or is this not good?
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As your breast got infected, that yellow fluid could be pus from the infected tissue.
This can lead to further spreadding of the infection and non-healing of the wound.
So your better consult your surgeon and get all the pus evacuated.
Continue using the antibiotics which will help in healing. Along with this take multi vitamins and minerals supplements as supportive therapy.
Take care.
