Dear Doctor, 2 Months Ago I Was Diagnosed For HSV1

Dear Doctor,

2 months ago I was diagnosed for HSV1 and that's 10 days after my last exposure as I had a burning sensation during urination and some painless blisters along my shaft and a redish colour at the tips of my penis with clear penile discharge and swollen testicles. My doctor put me on acyclovir for 1 months (4 tablets a day, 2 in the morning and 2 at night). after I have completed my medication course the symptoms were still there so he extended the medication for one more (same prescription) and after that I did a pcr test for HSV1 and HSV2 and they were not detected. 1 week later I suffered from a terrible tingles in my penis (everywhere no specific place) and painful swollen testicles. He put me on Levoflaxicin for 5 days. The pain of the testicles has decreased as a result but the other symptoms are still there. Now I have terrible tingles on the bladder area and my waist both sides.

Those symptoms have been there with me for 2 months and since then I have been really worried and anxious. I really need your help and advice. I would greatly appreciate it if you give me feedback as soon as possible.

Thank you
