Dear Doctor, I Have Been Taking Different Types Of Antidepressants

Dear Doctor,
I have been taking different types of antidepressants for over a year now and am so discouraged, I can't stand it. My current 4 month usage is PAROXETINE. It seems to have helped my depression but anxiety is much worse and other side effects are hard to tolerate. I hate to admit that I do not trust my doctor's advise anymore. I'm taking myself off PAROXETINE and considering a natural, non prescription A2X. Do I just quit the PAROXETINE or do I taper off? Please respond, if you can. I appreciate your opinion as I will not consult my family doctor again. Thank you, Treesa ps I'm 73 YEARS OLD AND HAVE A DAUGHTER 53, IN A HOSPICE facility with stage 4 cancer.
