Dear Doctor, I have recently undergone 3rd degree Hemmorhoids surgery 15 days back but still the severe pain persists during defecation/motion in the morning and lasts for 4-5 hours. My surgeon has prescribed various medicines including Smuth syrup for bed time but not prescribed any cream/ointment. But I am applying Smuth Cream/Ointment after stools. Is my action is in order/right ? Will it give relief from pain ?
