Dear Doctor, I Have The Following Medial Problems. 1. In

Dear Doctor,
I have the following medial problems. 1. In 2005 during routine check up Cardiologist Dr.Tiny Nair of Trivandrum felt some ecg variation which was analysed in detail throuh CT Angio and was observed as a temporary signal indication of some earlier time and otherwise perfectly ok. However he has advised me one Beta Blocker and ecospirin regularly. From then on I am taking Nebistar 2.5 - 1-0-0 and Clavix 75- 0-1-0. I got parallel check up at Appollo Hospitals, Chennai with Dr.Subramanian, Cardiologist and he has the same views of Tiny Nair. From then on I am on these medicines - however I stop Clavix for 2~3 days in between to aoid acidity problem.
2. While lifting Garden Pots in 1978 I developed back ache and immediately consulted Physical Medicine Specialist Dr.Hariharan who confirmed that it was only temporary and that the muscles have stretched a bit which has caused pain. He suggested some anti-inflamatory medicines for couple of days and asked me to apply some pain relieving ointment/spray if and when needed. I was managing well accordingly for few years. I am careful not to handle much weight especially in a bend stature.
From 1981 to 1985 I took over as Chief Construction Engineer of a Company in Switzerland and was working at Nigera where medium and high end projects were in full swing at 6~7 states simultaneously. Though I strted on one major project only initially , in about 4 month's time I was asked to take over all the projects and do whatever needed. This resulted in very hectic daily workload both physical and mental. In addition, I had to travel to the tune of 20,000 kilometers every moth by road and my days start at 5-30am and end up at 10-30pm almost all days including travel. Because ofyounger age I did not bother and continued actively, till1985 and then returned to India back to my routine job at State Electricity Dept.
3.In 1989 I joined Hitachi Ltd of Japan as Consultant Co-ordinator for their high voltage sub station projects in Far East, Middle East, Indonesia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc. I started from Japan for 6 months in 1989~90. Till 2006 I was in the line. Very hectic work schedule - about15~16 hours per day with 24 hour schedules on days of final commissioning of a project in between.Necessary travels in this connection also. However being a consultant I used to avail 2 weeks off every 3 months , go home, rest and recoup. Age was also going up in parallel and my back pain frequecy started changing gradually. In between I had some lower abdominal pain and the consultant Urologistindicated this as Bladder Neck contraction and did some surgery twice. Since the back pain slowly strted increasing, I consulted a Neurologist in Chennai and after detailed tests and examination indicated it as Obturator Neurologia at Lower Back L4~L5 and prescribed Gabantin Forte 1-0-0 and TabNeugaba75 - sos. Whenever the pains shot up I was advised Gabantin Forte 1-1-1. Some back and leg exercises also advised. From then on I am taking Gabantin 1to2 times daily and Neugaba 75 very ocassionally. Off and on I use a Waist Belt with stiffners which helps maintain conditions under control. I do some exercises off and on and do a regular hectic walking for 50~60 minutes daily. During one of these consultaions the USS Scan indicated softening and bulging of 2 disc plates at lower back which press against nerves in certain postures, the effect being inflamation and pain on right leg upto foot, back lower end and lower abdominal area. First two controlling as such with Trigabantin 100 1-0-0 and Neugaba 75 ocassinally. Whenever pains are much advised ULTRACET sos. Managing reasonably well. These results were then shown to Consultant Urologist Dr.Jayachandran of GUEST Hospital , Chennai who made detailed investigations and opined that the lower abdominal pains are due to the neurolgy prblem of back for which the prostate/Bladder Neck surgery was not needed. He has advised URIMAX 0.4- 0-0-1 ON A REGULAR BASIS SO THAT THE BLADDER WILL NOT GET STRAINED AND ALSO TO TAKE LOT OF WATER/FLUID INTAKE AND TO WALK REGULARLY.
5. Of late my General Physician in Trivandrum has indiacted that there appears some slowness on my right side movements compared to left. So I consulted my Neuroligist In Chennai Dr.S.S.K.Iyer who opined that he is aware of this already and there is nothing to worry. He pointed out that with my neurulogical problem the signaling from brain is slightly changed that is all and told that if you go to a Physician he will treat you for Parkinsons He opined that there is only on group of medicines for these and are not troublesome. Accordingly I am taking Syndoa 110 -1-1-1 and Rasalect 0.5 - 1-0-1daily and is to be contiued for quite some time.
During the past 1.5 years my night sleep is very much affected and on certain days I sleep only for an hour or so in night. Daytime may sleep max one hour, not daily. I consulted my Neurologist ad he has advised to take Tab Stilnoct 6.25 once daily in night. With this I can sleep about 5.5 hours in night. Dr says no bad effect for this medicine. But I am worried. In parallel there is a sudden weight gain in me. During my yonger das I was an athelete + footballer and also run and walk a lot. Till upto 2011~12 I was mantaining a steady weight pattern of about 78 kg. I am 5ft 11in tall. For the last two years almost there is much weight gain It shot upt 89 and I am 73 years of age, partially retired from active proessional job after45 years hectic lifestle in different parts of the world. I am a vegetarian and take only very litle oil, no pickles, low salt and more of fruits and less carbohdrates.I consulted my neuroligist and he referred me to a gastro specialist wo said everything is ok.
Of late my friends Auyrvedic Specialists Dr.Satheesh and Dr.Subash have given the following. Tab SUMANTA 2-2-2 AND Cap ACTIVGRA 2-2-2 for sleep. They say there is one item in body which controls the sleep and it has fallen down considerably that is why no sleep as of now. These may hae to be taken as such for 3~4 months and watching improvement Tab Stilnoct may be stopped and dosage of these reduced.
2 Tabs and one Syrrup in liquid form ( Tab 2-0-2 and Syrrup 1-0-1 60ml) With this medicaion and my normal present day style the weight has come down to 84kg. He says in 3 months it will come to 78kg.
Please have your advise on all above
