Dear Doctor, I Took 1/2 Ultram 50 Mg Yesterday At

Dear Doctor,

I took 1/2 Ultram 50 mg yesterday at 12 noon and had already taken 1/2 Ativan 1 mg. I called the druggest to see if these were bad together since I had already taken them. He said it would make me sleepy but I would be OK. I then used 1/4 tablet of each at 10 PM because insomnia has been a problem for weeks. I had no side effects and thought this would be OK. I slept perfectly.

At about 9:30 AM this morning I took 1/2 Ultram only before church for my ongoing back pain. After church while visiting I became very faint and had to sit. Did not faint but the feeling stayed and my balance was a bit off.

I have been hearing that Ultra may be pulled because of serious side effects. True?

Thank you,
Alys

I have taken both these meds, always separately, for at least a year or more. Never missed them. Very successful on eleviating symptoms. This morning I did not put the two together.
