Dear Doctor Shankar, I Was Recently Diagnosed With Neurocysticercosis And

Dear Doctor Shankar, I was recently diagnosed with Neurocysticercosis and am on albendazole since the last 3 weeks. I have also been given wysolone (60 mg/day) to counter the inflammation. Now after 3 weeks, my doctor has suggested me to reduce wysolone by 5 Mg after every 3 days. The problem is, my blood sugar levels are shooting up because of wysolone and my Doctor says that its only transient and will come to normalcy once I stop wysolone. I was never a diabetic before. I would be grateful if you could let me know if you could let me know if my sugar levels will be normal after I stop wysolone.
