Death Due To Ruptured Myocardial Infarction. Would She Have Suffered Or Died Quickly?
Hi we lost my mum 4 days ago to a ruptured myocardial infarction ...Haemopericardium,she also had Hypertension ..I need to know if she would have suffered or would she have gone quickly.She was found not long after death and the paramedics tried hard but it wasnt to be,what would she have felt?..I just need to know if she would have suffered.

Ruptured Myocardium is seen in severe infarctions, any infarction does cause severe pain .If the process of infarction was fast as it usually happens in severe infarction , the pain felt could be severe but of short duration.
Such a severe infarction if happens the chances of death are more.
