Deep, Small Pain In Chest, Sharp Pain While Breathing Or Bending. Suggest
Hello, I am a 35 year old woman. I have been noticing a small pain in my chest. It feels like it is in my left breast but it feels deep down, maybe near my heart? Feels too deep down to be my breast. It is just a small sharp pain sometimes when I breathe in or out and sometimes when I bend over or lay down. Sometimes it comes when I am doing nothing.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. I would come up with these possibilities for this pain on the left side ( around heart area) , these includes. 1 Consolidation , diagnosis can be confirmed by chest X ray . As pain is more during breathing and deep in the chest may be collapse a part of lung. 2 Heart pain as you are 35 years female so the age factor with deep pain may be an indication of heart disease . Diagnosis can be confirmed by E K G and echo . 3 Degenerative disease of coastal bones as you mentioned that pain aggravate during bending . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination. In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is very important . Good luck. Dr. HET
