Delay In Period, Have Flow Darker Than Normal, Scanty Period, Negative Pregnancy Test. What Else Can It Be?
I was two and half week late for my period, which isnt normal for me because i am a regular but i just got my period today, but its darker than normal and its not much, and during the 2 and half week late i cramped every single day. I Don t believe im pregnant because i took a hpt 3 days ago and it was negative. What else can it be?
Hi, Thanks for the query. The possible causes for your bleeding are : - Hormonal imbalance, leading to delayed periods. This can occur due to causes like ploycystic ovary disease, lifestyle modifications leading to weight changes etc. -Thyroid hormonal abnormalities can also affect the menstrual cycle. -Sometimes urine pregnancy test kit may not give accurate result especially in early pregnancy. So the possibility of pregnancy also cannot be excluded completely. So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound. By this the possibility of pregnancy can be ruled out and also the cause for your problem can be identified and treated. Take care.
