And the doctor told me i should be getting my period another 4 days. But today is the day and i didn't get my period. Is there any possiblity that i am pregnant.
Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. Yes, there is a possibility that you are pregnant. Please take a pregnancy test at the earliest. Sometimes, even without a pregnancy, the period might be delayed / there might be scantier flow, which is common with birth control. Once a pregnancy test is taken, you would be reassured. Other causes could include - stressing out over professional or personal life issues, emotional turbulence, change in the pattern of eating / sleeping habits, recent and significant weight gain. Conditions like hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries etc need to be ruled out if irregular cycles become the norm, instead of a one - off incident. All the best.
