Delayed Period, Maybe Pregnant. Marijuana Harmful For Fetus?
Hello Dr, I am not positive of pregnancy quite yet as i am only a week over due, although i do think i am noticing some distinct signs. I am a frequant marijuana smoker and although willing to completely quit in order to maintain a healthy baby i am concerned that i could have already caused damage in the first couple of weeks? Please help!

Regular use of marijuana in pregnancy is associated with low birth weight and pre-term delivery. But since you have taken it only for the first few weeks, I feel there wouldn't have been much damage, although one cannot actually quantify it. So please do not worry and remain off marijuana for the rest of the pregnancy.
