hello. I had unprotected sex with my partner on the friday and saturday nights. On the Sunday (2nd pill in packet) I forgot to take the pill. I took both Sunday and Mondays pills at the same time. I am on Cerazette. I then took Ellaone on Tuesday. This was now twelve days ago but I am not sure of my cycle as its so irregular. I am half way through pill packet now. Thanks for your question. It is unlikely that pregnancy has occurred as you followed the proper procedure when missing a birth control pill. If missed for one day, taking two pills the next day usually provides for pregnancy protection. No birth control pill is 100% effective, and pregnancy can begin any time sexual relations and exposure to sperm occur. Home pregnancy tests usually are positive approximately ten days after conception. There is a low false negative rate with urine pregnancy tests so if your test is negative 12 days from intercourse, you are probably not pregnant.
