Ipill is a hormonal emergency contraceptive and it is associated with alteration of menstrual cycle in some women. However these alterations do not last more than a couple of cycles and usually involved a delayed period or abnormal bleeding or change in the quantity of menstrual flow.
Ipill is known to be very effective particularly when taken within the first 12 hours after unprotected intercourse. She did take the pill within that time period so there should be no fear of her becoming pregnant.
The delay in her menses therefore and of now is considered to be due to the effect of the ipill.
However, you could do a pregnancy test to be comfortable.
Best regards and hope this helps you Dr Achuo
