Delayed Periods. Suffering From Stomach Cramps, Frequent Urination And Mood Swings. Had Miscarriage. Suggest
I am 47 years old and had a miscarriage 2 years ago. My partner and i have been trying to have a baby since. My last period was very watery and lasted for approx 4 to 5 days. I am now 3 weeks late for my next period and have been suffering with stomach cramps , frequent urination and terrible mood swings. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and this was negative. Can you advise what this could be ?
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Sometimes urine pregnancy test kit may not detect early pregnancy.
So you once consult gynecologist and go for blood test for pregnancy or ultrasound.
By ultrasound the possibility of pregnancy can be found out and also in the absence of pregnancy any possible causes for delayed periods can be rule out.
In case of absence of pregnancy, better to take treatment to conceive from the next cycle.
