Delayed Periods. Symptoms Of Nausea Followed By Brown Discharge, Headache, Pain In Stomach Like Cramps Followed By Periods With Clots. Reason?
I had my period over due by 4 days having symptoms of nausea for the past week. Yesterday i had brown discharge only twice when i went to use the bathroom and had a headache all day. Today I woke up with abdominal pain like cramps very bad and a headache started to get my period but with clots. What could be the reason?
I would first advice getting yourself examined physically by a doctor, followed by a blood investigstion to check on your serum hCG level; to rule out anpossible pregnancy that could have resulted in a miscarriage.
Once this is ruled out, your doctor will have to consider other causes for such a presentation and examine with the help of a transvaginal ultrasound scan, bimanual examination, speculum examination, pap smear, among other investigations.
In the meantime, please abstain from all forms of sexual contact if your are indeed sexually active.
Best wishes.
