Detected With Right Temporal Arachnoid Cyst And Calcified Granuloma. What Is The Treatment?
my husband has been detected with right temporal arachnoid cyst and calcified granuloma left high parietal region, the report says there is well defined extra axial cystic area with csf density in right temporal region anteriorly measuring 45 x 40 x 28 mm suggestive of arachnoid cyst. a calcified focus of size 4 mm is seen in left parietal para faix region without any perifocal edema. what does all this mean and what is the line of treatment?

1.Arachnoid cysts are cysts containing C.S.F lined by arachnoid cells and
mostly these are asymptomatic .In some cases surgical decompression is required.
2.There is calcified granuloma in left high parietal region of brain without surrounding edema means it is not active and it is in healed stage. It also doesn't require any treatment.
