Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Problems, Motion Without Control. Took Cremaffin, Herbolax, Mom Plus, Pegmove Powder. Advise?

My fateher is bed ridden from past 16 years and havig almost all problem i.e. Diabities, Stroke, Herat pronblem etc, for a long period taken CREMAFIN, 2 year ago CREMAFIN does not work, swithched over to HERBOLAX after 8 to 10 month it does not work there after MOM Plus problem remains, now from 2 month PEGMOVE POWDER, due to PEGMOVE whole day feel pressure and from last 15 days motion occure without control any time mainly in late night, what is advisable

Hi,
Your father has multiple problems ,and he is bedridden .Constipation in your fathers case is either due to reduce mobility and can also be secondary to associated autonomic neuropathy seen in diabetes patient.He should be given plenty of fluids 3litre/day ,fibre rich diet to be taken with help of dietician ,and make him mobilize and either wheel chair or with help of physiotherapist and occupational therapist.Sugar to be controlled.Check for medicines which can cause constipation like calcium.Hypothyroidism to be ruled out. Lactulose 15-30 ml can be given bed time which produce motion in morning hours
