Diabetic. Swelling And Itching In Penis Shaft, Cracking Of Foreskin. Applied Anti Fungal Cream. Alternative Medicine?

I'm diabetic. Is my health situation be the cause of itchiness and swelling of the penis shaft and the cracking of the foreskin for the last three years? I have never consulted a doctor on his but applied anti fungal cream to the affected area(s) when required but the symptoms still persists. Is there any help from you in terms of advice as to what next step I should take?

Hi, it appears that You have cracking of the prepuce of the penis, and and it has lead to the superinfection of the shaft with fungus and bacteria.If it is in the begening it would have been controlled when the sugar is controlled. now you may need to be treated separately for this superinfection as well, after complete controle of the diabetis.
so i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.

Hello,
Uncontrolled diabetes leads to development of fungal infection in the foreskin of penis and treatment demands a meticulous control of diabetes along with use of local antifungal ointments.
If the infection doesn't go away and symptoms persist,then ideal treatment is circumcision.
Consult a surgeon and go for circumcision..
