Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I would suggest two things
1. get a culture of the fluid that exudes out
2. get an ultrasound of the abdomen

i would like to know what kind of medicines does your doctor give you?

assuming its an infection, a good control of your sugars is only going to help you

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Dr. Basheer Ahamed's  Response
Hello,

Recurrent bacterial infections are very common in uncontrolled diabetes.
In my opinion my would evaluate the cause for infection with test like pus culture and sensitivity of the discharge and ultrasound of the abdomen to arrive at a diagnosis.
Secondly test the blood sugars and adjust the dosage of the drugs if needed.
but infection is not due to diabetic drugs.
