Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
With the available described symptoms, there appears to be possibility of Acute upper respiratory tract infection with superimposed secondary bacterial infection.
There also appears to be possibility of infection foci in tonsils also causing persistent halitosis.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ ENT surgeon and should go for thorough check up.
You should also go for complete blood count. erythrocyte sedimentation rate, chest x ray, throat swab culture & sensitivity.
You should take complete antibiotic therapy, decongestants, mucolytics.
Avoid sour, oily foods and cold drinks.
Perform gargles three times in a day; a glass of lukewarm water with a pinch of salt.
Take care,

Hello, thanks for the query.
Sore throat with pain also in ear with excessive salivation from or in mouth ( throat).
Your's upper respiratory tract is involved in this as there is severe throat infection.
Due to this throat infection you developed mucus and that mucus was in lungs and from lungs this accumulates in throat.
Due to throat infection you might have some infection and of course allergy ( associated) in lung where sputum ( mucus) formed.
If there is whistling sound during breathing i.e. allergy.
Both infection and allergy are the main culprits of your disease.
Please consult a physician and get an X-RAY of chest and blood test for C B C.
Till you may have some bronchodilators for relief but after the advice of doctor.
Good luck. Dr. HET
