Diabetic Patient Suffering From Urinary Tract Infection, On Stopping Antibiotic Get Fever. What Should I Do?

sir, my diabetic patient is suffering from urinary tract infection from 1year. taking treatment in apollo, chennai. creatinine level is 3.62. but when he stop to taking antibiotic, after 7 to 15day he again suffering from fever with e.coli infection once again. i need your advice.

infections in diabetics is a difficult thing to control, and with deranged creatinine, most of the antibiotics cannot be given in the full dose

i will suggest plenty of fluids, with urine alkalanizers, and a long term antibiotic course, all of course as per your nephrologist
