hi doctor, my 2year old daughter had urinary tract infection for the last 2 days .we consulted the doctor and he given some anibiotic and fever drugs. now what food i can give to her and what not give,pls suggest me.
it is very unusual for 2 yr old child to have uti. You dont need to alter the diet in any way but you surely need to see urologist as this can long lasting effects on the kidneys of child

If they're old enough, cranberry juice can help. But the others are right, UTIs don't require a restriction in diet. Your child may need extra drinks to help 'wash' the infection out. Plenty of fluid and bed rest
