Diabetic, Was Unable To Read Due To Blurred Vision. Blood Pressure Was Little High And Sugar Less

I suddenly could not read because part of the sentence was blury. I think the left eye had less peripheral vision. It has cleared up in about 5 mins. I took my blood pressure it was 148 over 88 not that high for me and my blood sugar was 110 which is low for me because I have type 2 diabetes.

Dear sir

In patients with diabetes and hypertension there will be diabetic retinopathy which causes pupillary block glaucoma by causing loss of peripheral vision..
But you still need to control your blood pressure between 130 and 80..

Secondly you are advised to do visal field testing and intraocular pressure measurement to rule out secondary glaucoma

Thanks
