Diabetic With A Urinary Infection

I am a diabetic for the past 6 years.Now I have a Urinary infection and My urine test shows results of Albumin as trace and Deposits are PUS Cells - 6-8 / HPF, EPI cells - 4-6?HPF, RBCS - 1-2/HPF. What does it means?

Hi.
This report means that your urine is infected and you need antibiotics along with a good control of your blood sugar levels to get rid of it.

control yr sugar levels take healthy food & keep check on yr Urine report once a month.

Diabetics are prone for repeated urinary tract infections. Best way to prevent them is to keep your sugar under good control.
Do regular light exercises/ walking along with healthy food intake and be under regular follow up with your doctor.
Your urine report shows urinary infection. Urine culture will show which organism is responsible for the infection

if ur sugar is under controll then this finindigs are as good as normal but u r dibetic so i will suggest u, u have check b/s fasting and post meal frequently urine for microproteinurea once in a year .fundoscopy,HbA1c,ecg,b.p.,lipid profile,once in a 6 month,for ur question i will suggest plenty of water orally.
