Diagnosed IBS, Suffer Dark Green Stools After Taking Beer. Reason ?

was On antibiotics for 5 days..and now on multivitamins..passing green stools( hard)
hello doc,
Here with an issue..
I was disgnosd for IBS after a series of food poisoning, infections and loose motion a couple of months ago. Was on medication ( antibiotics, MEB-SR). Finally got cured and my bowel habits turned to normal.
A week ago i happened to attend a party and had a bottle of beer. The same day midnight i had an urgency to pass stools ..which started as a normal one and finally had loose motion the next day which had mucus and blood(bright red).

Had been to my DOC.. he prescribed me antibiotics which i took them for 5 days, completed the course 2 days ago.. the issue now is i have been having regular bowel movements but they appear to be dark in color( hard regular stools not loose motion) preferably a dark green in color.. this is made me much worried, keeps me out of my regular day mentally as i always keep thinking about it...

Can u please tell me the reason for this and what has to be done..

Hi, it appears to be due to change in the intestinal flora, due to antibiotics, i advise you to consult your doctor about the present stage.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe prebiotics like lactic acid bacilli for converting the flora int a natural flora.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Thank you.
