Tiredness, Bloating, Frequent Urination, Nausea, Heartburn. History Of IBS. Treatment?

Hi I am female age 34. I have been experiencing tiredness/restless sleep, bloating of the tummy, frequent urinination and the sudden urge to go, nausea and heartburn for a few days now, but this comes and goes on a monthly basis. My appetite has exceeded and I feel uncomfortable after eating at times. I have suffered with IBS for many years but my bowel movements have been good recently. What can you advise

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* Can be primary bowel dysfunction or irritable bowel syndrome and not irritable bowel disease.
* Lifestyle modifications, dietary measures and primary medications as proton pump inhibitors, prokinetics are best supporters till the gastrologist opinion arrives.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
