I am 6'ft weight 186. 68 yrs old No family history of hear problems.if I have an AAA, what are the causes, and can I fix it naturally? I don't like taking pills nor do I want an invasive procedure! I workout with a trainer for .30minutes 5 days per wk. Any suggestions and do you need more info. Seeing my primary 8/20/13 regarding the Ct scan...Thanks
Hi and welcome to HCM. It cant be fixed naturaly and the surgery is only acceptable treatment for aneurisms larger than 5cm. Such aneursims have higher risk of rupture which is usualy catastrophic and fatal. so you need frequent follow up and size of aaa measuring,if there is raoid grow, you should have surgery. till that try to avoid risk factors that casue atherosclerosis since it is also cause of aaa. all in all, this is not something to ignore and to risk. Wish you good health.Regards
